Accept is one of those great bands that sometimes gets lost in the shuffle of the NWOBHM (New Wave OF British Heavy Metal) bands. Most people remember their original songs with Udo on vocals. The first three tracks are the most popular songs by that era of the band.

However, Accept got back together a couple of years ago with a new singer and the music they are creating is unbelievable. In many ways, I may actually prefer this version of the band which is crazy to say. Check out some of the songs below.

Great riff, groove, and chorus. Easily their most popular song.

Love the drum work on this track.

The galloping feel reminds me of Iron Maiden a lot here.

Here are a couple of songs with their first album with new vocalist,

And this is a single of the new album to be released on 4/10/12.

Man, the new Accept stuff is so good. Oddly enough, I can't even much comment on the old stuff. I would just hear some of the new stuff on the Metal channel or just wherever. Whenever I see that new Blood of the Nations album in the store, I always think I should buy it. I don't buy that, but I buy cheesy Adrenaline Mob. I need to get my metal priorities in order.

  2. Blood of the Nations is unbelievable. I'll be picking up Stalingrad shortly.... You definitely need to get your priorities in order. For instance, have you bought the new Overkill? Awesome.

Nah, I haven't bought it. They will be here in a couple weeks and I will be at the show, though. This time I can actually see them in my hometown and not have to drive 8 hours to Atlanta. Ha
